With the Black & Whites originally scheduled to face Huddersfield this week, hullfc.com takes a look back at five memorable recent clashes against the West Yorkshire side.

2017: Huddersfield 8-48 Hull FC

Marc Sneyd sensationally swept aside negative comments in the press to score a hat-trick against the Giants in the Round Three clash in 2017.

Sneyd bagged himself a total of 28 points on the day as the Black & Whites ran riot on a cold night in West Yorkshire.

New-signing Albert Kelly continued his fine early form in the season scoring a brace, but it was Carlos Tuimavave with the score of the night showing a great turn of pace to collect Kelly’s offload and go the length to touch down.

2014: Hull FC 30-6 Huddersfield

Huddersfield hit back through Jodie Broughton, but Hull ran away with the scoreline thanks to tries from Danny Houghton, Jacob Miller and a first Super League try for Dean Hadley. A dominanting performance from Lee Radford’s side.

2016: Hull FC 37-20 Huddersfield

Hull FC made it five wins on the bounce with a clinical victory over the out of form Giants. A brace from Jamie Shaul helped the Black & Whites to a 37-20 victory on Kirk Yeaman’s 350th appearance for the club.

Scores from Josh Bowden, Liam Watts, Danny Houghton and Curtis Naughton alongside Shaul’s brace ensure that Lee Radford’s men backed up recent good form, and moved them up into joint 2nd place with Catalans and Wigan.

2012: Hull FC 46-10 Huddersfield

Hull FC brought Huddersfield’s Super League season to an end in a play-off elmination match at the KCOM Stadium in 2012, with a convincing 46-10 victory. Jamie Foster bagged a 22-point haul himself to set up a preliminary semi-final against the Warrington Wolves.

A brace from both Foster and Tom Briscoe along with tries from Liam Watts, Aaron Heremaia, Andy Lynch and Richard Horne’s meant that Hull FC had racked up 152 points in their last 3 matches (vs Castleford and Bradford).

2015: Huddersfield 0-19 Hull FC

Hull FC began the 2015 Super League campaign in the best possible way, with a dominant 19-0 over Huddersfield at the John Smith Stadium. The hosts never really got a look in as tries from Fetuli Talanoa and a brace for Jamie Shaul, along with 3 goals (and a drop-goal) and a great debut performance from Marc Snyed.

Huddersfield hadn’t lost an opening game since 2008, but it was a comfortable start to the Black & White’s 150th year.
