Check out some of the best photos of the Hull FC Community Foundation’s wheelchair marathon challenge yesterday!

Five members of the club’s Community Foundation travelled 26.2 miles from the Bonus Youth Performance Centre in Hull to Skipsea in wheelchairs as part of the fundraiser.

The challenge was aiming to raise funds for the Foundation’s ‘Tackle Challenges’ scheme, with funds raised going towards helping the club’s charity arm continue some of their key work in with vulnerable young people in Hull in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team of five set off from Hull at 6.30am, heading through the town centre and out into the East Riding countryside along the Hull to Hornsea railpath, part of the Trans Pennine Trail.

The team them proceeded into Hornsea before following the coastline to their finishing line in Skipsea, completing the challenge in just under 10 and a half hours.
