The Black & Whites will face Warrington Wolves next week in their play-off eliminator match, it has been confirmed this evening.

Wigan Warriors’ victory over Huddersfield Giants this evening in the final game of the Betfred Super League regular season, which subsequently secured them the League Leaders Shield, confirmed that the Wolves would finish the season in third place.

Under the new play-off structure announced last week, Andy Last’s side will take on Warrington in an elimination match next Thursday (12th November) as the 3rd placed side take on FC sat in 6th.

The fixture, which will be live on Sky Sports and the OurLeague app, will kick-off at 7.45pm, and will be held at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.

The reward for the Black & Whites should they win will be a play-off semi-final clash against League Leaders Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium on Thursday 19th November.

Catalans Dragons will face Leeds Rhinos in the other elimination match.

The 2020 Betfred Super League season will culminate with the Grand Final at the KCOM Stadium on Friday 27th November, 7.45pm.
