Cross-city rivals Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers will go head-to-head at the KCOM Stadium in Betfred Super League’s ‘Rivals Round’ this coming August.

Round 20 of the competition will feature some of the competitions biggest and oldest rivalries, with the Black & Whites and the Red & Whites set to do battle in West Hull once more.

Brett Hodgson’s side will be hoping to continue their fine Hull Derby form of late, having won both of last season’s fixtures and clinching the Clive Sullivan Trophy.

FC tasted victory in front of a packed KCOM Stadium crowd last February, before beating the Robins behind-closed-doors in October at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

With supporters set to return to stadiums across the summer, it is sure to be a memorable occasion as Super League’s biggest rivals meet for the first time after the national lockdown comes to an end.

In a change to norm, due to current Covid restrictions, the “traditional” Easter fixtures have been moved back in the season in the hope that bumper crowds of fans will be able to cheer on their team from the stands.

Elsewhere across the competition, Wigan Warriors and St Helens will meet at the DW Stadium in Super League’s second-biggest derby, while West Yorkshire sides Leeds and Huddersfield go head-to-head, alongside Castleford and Wakefield.

These games have provided some of the most enduring moments in Super League over the years and with no doubt all to play for just five rounds from the end of the regular season, these games will again create some memorable moments.

Fixtures will take place across the weekend of August 19-22, with further details announced in due course.
