For as little as £1 per week, fans and local residents can help us generate funds to support our Centre of Excellence and its core aim to develop the rugby league talent of the local community.
Through our partnership with NYCDA and the NYCDA Weekly Draw, 1000s of local people are doing just that for the chance to win £1000s in prizes every week. Not only do they support our player development programmes, many regularly win smaller prizes ranging from £10 to £100.
We recently visited Roger Coates (pictured) to talk to him about why he supports the lottery. He was more than happy to win £50, but admitted to not being a huge rugby league fan and in fact is an ice hockey fan himself. Roger’s personal motivation is to support his local community and he really loves to know that all proceeds go towards giving local young people a chance to progress.
In fact he isn’t the only local person with such a positive attitude who have been lucky to win, with recent winners including Mrs Marilyn Rands, Mrs DM Fairhurst, Mrs Joyce Wilson and Mrs Barbara Carr all winning nice cash prizes in recent months.
