Hull FC have revealed their stunning alternate jersey for the 2023 Betfred Super League season, available online now and in store from 9am tomorrow.

The new kit pays homage to two of the club’s earliest ever kit designs, with it lesser known that Hull began life wearing royal blue in 1865.

The shirt also sees the return of another fan-favourite design, with the jersey featuring Hull’s famous white star – a key aspect of the Black & Whites’ shirts in the late 1800s when FC merged with Hull White Star in 1881.

The white star made a brief return during FC’s Challenge Cup winning campaign in 2016 as the club’s third jersey – a shirt which proved to be one of our most popular of all-time.

Making a return for the 2023 season, the star will combine with the royal blue tones to create a unique pairing of our two first ever jerseys.

Blue has become a traditional alternate colour for the Airlie Birds over the last 70 years, and they’ll hit the road again in blue this season.

As seen below, the jersey is modelled by new recruits Tex Hoy and Jake Clifford who will both link up with the Tony Smith’s side for pre-season training in the coming weeks – the very first time the two former Newcastle Knights have pulled on their new club colours.

Fans will be able to see fellow new recruits Jake Trueman and Liam Sutcliffe wearing the new alternate shirt at our Shop Signing Session on Saturday morning (11.00am), taking place at out St Stephen’s retail store where supporters will be able to meet the new signings, while picking up the new shirt too!

Once again designed by technical and merchandise partner hummel, the jersey and accompanying range also features the brand’s eye-catching chevrons, with main club partner Atropa Pharmacy taking pride of place on the front of the jersey, while global brand Jacuzzi, the club’s Elite Performance Partner, also feature on the sleeve of the jersey once again.

Atropa Pharmacy have been the club’s main partner since 2020, and features on the front and centre of our both our principal and alternate jersey for the fourth season running as the partnership has goes from strength to strength, with hundreds of fans having signed up to their free prescription delivery service.

The new alternate shirt and accompanying alternate training range items are available to purchase right now online at hullfcshop.com, while the jersey will be available in all sizes from our retail stores from 9.00am on Friday morning.

Additional training and off-field clothing items will be added to the range in-store over the next few weeks,, with several items available to pre-order.
