A series of fun-filled events and one ‘Big Day Out’ as Hull&Proud Week returns

Hull&Proud Week, proudly supported by Summit Vans, returns for 2024 in June, featuring a bumper schedule of exciting club events in the build-up to our ‘Big Day Out’ clash against Leeds Rhinos at the MKM Stadium!

The biggest week in the Black & Whites’ annual calendar features both new events and the return of some fan-favourites, as well as an action-packed match day against the Rhinos on Saturday 15th June (3.00pm), where supporters can make the most of our ‘Members Double’ and ‘Kids For A Quid’ ticket offers.

Hull&Proud Week first took place back in 2014, celebrating the club’s position in the local community and its relationship with its passionate supporters, and 2024 will see us mark its tenth anniversary – Hull&Proud is the club’s motto, and throughout the week, fans get the chance to get up close and personal with the first-team squad, as well as be part of some special events.

Previous years have seen thousands of supporters engage with the club, throughout Hull and across the local region, with 2024’s schedule offering a wide range of events for supporters of all ages, including our popular Players Restaurant Takeover at Zizzi St Stephen’s, our Hull FC Big Fat Quiz of the Year at the MKM Stadium, and St Stephen’s Top Floor Takeover, as well as various community initiatives including visiting over 30 local schools.

Monday 3rd June & Thursday 6th June – Black & White Thursday School Visits

The entire first-team squad will head out around the city to visit over 30 local schools and engage with thousands of youngsters, taking on training sessions, school assemblies, taking part in Q&As and sports days, and more!

Every school who takes part will receive an exclusive ticket offer for our ‘Big Day Out’ clash against the Rhinos.

Monday 10th June – Players Restaurant Takeover at Zizzi St Stephen’s

One of the highlights of Hull&Proud Week, this year’s Player Restaurant Takeover heads to club partners Zizzi St Stephen’s as members of the first-team squad prepare and serve your evening meal!

The players will become waiters, hosts and chefs for the night, serving up some delicious Italian cuisine for hungry supporters, with Herman Ese’ese and Tom Briscoe designing their own menu items for supporters to try!

Supporters wishing to attend the event should book their tables directly through the venue at zizzi.co.uk/italian/restaurants/hull – members of the squad will be in attendance between 5.00pm and 7.30pm.

2024 members will receive a 20% discount on the night, with a donation from the event being made to the Mental Health Foundation, and the Hull FC Community Foundation.

Tuesday 11th June – Hull FC’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year

One of our most popular events of Hull&Proud Week is our annual Quiz Night, which this year will be held at the MKM Stadium in a pub-quiz style, including rounds from some of your favourite game-shows, hosted by Hull FC’s Pitch Announcer, Luke Greaves.

Teams of 4 to 12 people can enter for just £10 per person, including a food platter with pizza and wedges for your table at the interval, plus prizes for the winners. The first 12 teams to book their spot will receive a first-team player as part of their team!

Thursday 13th June – St Stephen’s Top Floor Takeover ft. 2006 Semi-Final Cinema Screening

The Airlie Birds will take over St Stephen’s Shopping Centre with the chance for young supporters to join members of the first-team squad taking part in various fun activities.

Players will be in attendance at indoor rock climbing centre Rock Up (4.30pm), and games and entertainment centre FunStation (6.00pm), to join in the fun alongside our young fans.

Our junior supporters will be able to have fun with the players in climbing challenges, before taking on the players at bowling, laser tag, arcade games and more!

Then from 7.00pm, supporters are invited to a special watchalong event at Reel Cinema – there will be a special screening of the club’s 2006 Super League Semi-Final victory over Bradford, arguably Hull’s finest victory at the MKM Stadium, joined by special guests Paul Cooke and Danny Washbrook who played in that fixture who will provide their insight and memories of the game.

Saturday 15th June – ‘Big Day Out: Hull FC vs Leeds Rhinos

Hull&Proud Week will feature the return of our ‘Big Day Out’ fixture against Leeds Rhinos at the MKM Stadium, where supporters can make the most of our ‘Members Double’ and ‘Kids For A Quid’ ticket offers!

2024 members can pick up two additional tickets to the game for just £10, while all junior tickets are available for just £1 for both members and non-members alike.

The match day will see our first West Park Fan Zone of the year take place ahead of kick-off, featuring fun and activities, live music, entertainment and more, while our LDRL and PDRL players will take to the field in a special half-time festival.

Sunday 16th June – Hull FC Wheelchair Season Opener

Catch the opening game of the Betfred Wheelchair Super League campaign at the Allam Sports Centre from 5.00pm as Hull FC take on reigning champions Wigan Warriors.

Entry to the game is free for 2024 members.
