Hull FC are pleased to confirm that young outside-back Davy Litten has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.

The deal sees the 21-year old remain at the MKM Stadium until at least the end of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

The club have secured the services of one of their most exciting young players, who now has 23 senior appearances under his belt since making his debut during the 2022 campaign.

Litten is a product of the club’s burgeoning Centre of Excellence youth system and a success story of the club’s Sports College programme, and one of a number of exciting Hull-born youngsters at the core of FC’s first-team squad.

The Cottingham Tigers junior made the step-up to the senior squad ahead of the 2022 season, making his debut against Wakefield Trinity at the MKM Stadium in August, before making 16 appearances last season and being named the club’s Young Player of the Year.

Litten brings impressive utility value to the Airlie Birds outside-back options, able to operate at centre, full-back and on the wing – he has made three appearances so far this season, as well as a further two appearances on loan at York Knights.

Litten is the latest name to commit his future to the club, following the announcement of Logan Moy’s three year contract last month.

Speaking to hullfc.com, Litten said: “I’m over the moon to be extending my stay at my boyhood club.

“Representing this club is a huge honour and I’m excited to see what the next two years bring for me in an exciting period for Hull FC.

“I know I’m still a long way off the finished article, but I’m determined to keep working hard and developing my game.”

Hull FC’s Director of Rugby Richie Myler, said: “We’re pleased to tie down another of our bright young talents for the next two years.

“Over the past two seasons, Davy has adapted really well to the senior environment, bringing plenty of passion, energy, and personal determination to grow as a player too.

“As Davy acknowledges himself, there are areas of his game that he is keen to develop, and we’re excited to see him do that with us over the coming years.”
