MKM are a well-known business in the city of Hull – their branch on Stoneferry Road was in fact the very first to be opened by the company.
Plus, the building supplies company currently holds sponsorship rights of Hull FC’s home venue, the MKM Stadium, so it is a name particularly familiar to supporters of the Black & Whites.
MKM Hull have teamed up with Daikin, the world’s largest air conditioner manufacturer to create a sustainable home centre at the Stoneferry Road MKM branch.
It’s the best of both worlds for MKM and Daikin.
Tradesmen who are interested in learning how to install Air Source Heat Pumps can be trained at the branch on Stoneferry Road for free, whilst homeowners keen to purchase one or find out more information will be able to see the live working models.
It’s all part of the companies’ ambitions to help people cut carbon emissions at a time where looking after our planet is of paramount importance.
A number of local businesses are working with MKM Hull and Daikin to cut their own carbon emissions, making them heat pump ready.
