Bidding is now open for our worn and signed Rob Burrow MBE warm-up jerseys, worn earlier this month ahead of the Black & Whites’ fixture against Leeds.

The club paid tribute to the late, great Rob Burrow CBE at their fixture against the Rhinos on 15th June, in what was Leeds’s first men’s fixture since Rob’s sad passing on June 2nd.

As one of a number of tributes that took place at the MKM Stadium, members of the first-team squad wore a special warm-up jersey ahead of kick-off, sporting Burrow’s name and the number seven, which is synonymous with the eight time Grand Final winner and MND campaigner, as well as the #OneRobBurrow slogan.

The jerseys have now been signed by the players, and are being auctioned via the club’s eBay channel – bidding is now open, with the deadline to bid set for 7pm on Thursday 4th July.

Six jerseys are available this week, with six more to be released for auction next week, and the final six the following week.

At the request of Leeds Rhinos and the Burrow family, all proceeds donated to the Leeds Hospitals Charity’s Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease, which broke ground earlier this month.

By bidding, and therefore donating, you can support the creation of a bespoke centre that delivers excellent patient-centred care in a supportive purpose-built environment suitable for the needs of the 21st century – over £6 million has already been raised, with a target of £6.8 million closing in.
