Reserves Squad Named For Leigh Visit

FC’s Reserves welcome Leigh Leopards to Hull YPI on Sunday

Centre of Excellence News

Francis Cummins has named an 18-man Hull FC Reserves squad for tomorrow afternoon’s meeting with Leigh Leopards Reserves at Hull Sports Centre (1.00pm kick-off).

Hull’s Reserves return to YPI for what promises to be another entertaining fixture, with fans still able to get their Black & White Rugby League fix during the international break.

FC came from behind to beat Leeds Rhinos Reserves two weeks ago, keeping them third in the Reserves Championship table.

There are five changes to this week’s Reserves squad, with Jack Charles and Ryan Westerman on England Academy duty with their fellow FC Academy comrade, Will Hutchinson.

Dual-registration duo Jude Thompson and Elliott Windley won’t feature this weekend, along with Jack Walker.

Having signed a one-year contract extension on Thursday after two solid displays for the first-team, Denive Balmforth will get more valuable minutes to keep his match-fitness ticking over.

Harvey Barron is fit to play again after suffering a head knock last month, whilst Owen Haldenby will return to the pack after serving his suspension.

Davy Litten is selected, along with Jed Cartwright, who could make his first appearance in a Hull FC shirt after his arrival from Australia just under two weeks ago. The back-rower will be looking to get some valuable game-time under his belt as he plots his senior debut with the Black & Whites, which could come as soon as next Sunday’s Super League meeting away to Salford.
