Hull FC are saddened to learn of the passing of former player Brian Clixby (#602).
Brian joined the club in January 1956 from Hull Juniors, making his senior debut on April 21st 1961 against Leeds.
He joined the club originally as a hooker, but often found himself featuring in the loose-forward role.
He made 65 appearances for the club between 1961 and 1966.
Clixby featured alongside the likes of club greats Johnny Whiteley MBE, Mick Scott, Clive Sullivan MBE, and Arthur Keegan.
The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the club are with Brian’s family and friends at this difficult time.
