The Black & Whites are aiming to bring a disappointing campaign to a close on a positive note at the MKM Stadium, in what will be Danny Houghton and Carlos Tuimavave final appearances for the club.
Grix has made six changes to the side that faced Salford Red Devils last weekend.
Academy duo Ryan Westerman and Callum Kemp both come into the starting line-up to make their senior debuts for the club at centre and half-back respectively.
Jed Cartwright and Matty Laidlaw also come into the side.
Carlos Tuimavave and Danny Houghton both start on their final Hull FC appearances.
The six incoming players replace Davy Litten, Ed Chamberlain, Jack Charles, Jack Walker, Tiaki Chan and Brad Fash.
Hull remain without Liam Sutcliffe (foot), Jake Trueman (calf), Nick Staveley (knee), Charlie Severs (shoulder), Tom Briscoe, King Vuniyayawa (ankle), and Will Kirby (foot).
