Tell us about how you are enjoying playing for the Hull FC Women?

I enjoy the team spirit with FC women as every single has everyone’s back no matter if we’re losing or winning and we are always working to get things right, the leaders in the group are helpful both in training and out of training too, so makes everything worthwhile when playing.

How are you finding life and training at the moment amidst the COVID-19 pandemic?

I haven’t been really bored at the moment as I’ve still had college work and also helping my dad revamp the garden! Training is going well as my goal is to go for a 3km, with me sticking to our monthly home schedule completing our individual programmes given to us by Sam. We still have group sessions each week via the Zoom app, so its good to keep seeing each other and training together still.

You’ve just been picked for the England University Rugby League side, how’s that been?

The England opportunity has been amazing even though our game got cancelled a few days prior. To represent my country playing the sport I love is great. I hope to adapt the new styles of play during training and games with the team.

What are your goals for the new season?

My main goal is to simply just keep improving and progressing from where I am now, with the help of my coaches and trying to keep my spot in the team. We have a good group of players and could lose my position in games, so I just need to keep training hard and working on what the coaches find in my game. I’d also love to play for Yorkshire’s women’s too!
