Danny Wilson has named a 21-man academy squad to face Wakefield Trinity Academy, brought to you in association with G&J Staffing
After the loss of the bulk of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, academy rugby league returns tomorrow as Hull make the trip to the Mobile Rocket Stadium to face Trinity (12.00pm kick-off).
Covid restrictions prevent spectators from attending the match, but the match will be streamed live on Wakefield Trinity’s Facebook page for those who wish to watch along.
Seven of the players named in Wilson’s 21-man squad have benefitted from training with Brett Hodgson’s first team squad for the last five months.
Joel Speed will play in his first competitive match in over two years after recovering from a knee injury.
Centre of Excellence Sports College student Davy Litten has made seismic strides over the last eighteen months. Having trained with the first team squad in 2021, he will be given a chance to impress tomorrow afternoon.
