Hull FC full-back Connor Wynne has joined York City Knights on loan.

The academy graduate will spend the next month with the Betfred Championship side, with the Black & Whites having the option to recall the player after two-weeks.

With no reserves competition in place in 2021, the move provides Wynne with some important game-time having yet to make a competitive appearance so far this season.

Wynne has made eight appearances for the Airlie Birds since making his debit in 2019, with his most recent coming against Leeds at Headingley last October.

Speaking on the move, Hull FC head coach Brett Hodgson said: “This will be a good opportunity for Connor to get some game time under his belt over the course of the next month.

“We’re happy with how Connor has been progressing so far in 2021, but its important for him to get some competitive minutes under his belt.

“York have a strong squad and the Championship is looking very competitive this season, so I know Connor is relishing the opportunity to train and play with them over the next few weeks.”

Wynne will link up with the Knights this week.

Meanwhile elsewhere in the Black & White ranks, Hull FC Academy youngster Ewan Badham has joined Betfred League One side West Wales Raiders on loan – the Welshman joined the club for the remainder of the 2021 season.
