Brett Hodgson has named his 21-man squad for Thursday’s trip to face Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.
The Black & Whites are aiming to continue their unbeaten run at the start of the 2021 campaign as they travel to face last season’s Grand Final runners-up in Betfred Super League Round 5.
Hodgson has made two changes to the squad for this week’s clash, with Bureta Faraimo and Josh Bowden both unavailable for selection.
Faraimo serves the first of a two game ban having been charged with a Grade C offense for a high-tackle against Wakefield, while Bowden will be out of action with an elbow injury sustained in the match.
The pair are replaced by Jack Brown, who returns from suspension, and academy winger Harvey Barron, who is named in a 21-man squad for the first-time in his career.
Athletic outside-back Barron is one of several Hull FC Academy players currently training with the first-team squad, with the 17-year old former England Academy player being the first to get a first-team call-up this season.
Elsewhere in the squad, Josh Reynolds (hamstring) and Manu Ma’u (calf) continue their recovery from injury, while Jamie Shaul and Masi Matongo remain sidelined as their continue to progress in their own recovery from long-term injuries.
