Voting is now open for Hull FC’s KayGee Engineering Player of the Month, and SS Testing Try of the Month awards for May.

Quartet Jake Connor, Mahe Fonua, Chris Satae and Manu Ma’u are all nominated for the latest KayGee Engineering Player of the Month award.

In a month where the Black & Whites remained unbeaten in Betfred Super League action, with wins over Castleford, Leigh and Huddersfield, all four players stood out amongst an in-form Hull FC squad.

Nominees are decided by calculating the number of times they have been nominated for the Jacuzzi Elite Performance Man of the Match award throughout the month.

Chris Satae continued his fine form shown across the season so far, with many across the league recognising the powerful prop as one of the top performing forwards across the competition in 2021.

Fonua picked up a Man of the Match award for his effort against Castleford Tigers in which he scored two tries, with the winger scoring five times across the month.

Jake Connor continued his fine vein of form, culminating in a sensational effort against Leigh Centurions in which he bagged four assists and scored a try of his own.

Manu Ma’u is arguably hitting some of his best form in a Black & White jersey, with barnstorming efforts in all three of FC’s wins.

Meanwhile, Mahe Fonua (vs Castleford, 1), Jack Brown (vs Leigh), Adam Swift (vs Leigh, 2), and Connor Wynne vs Huddersfield are all nominated for the SS Testing Try of the Month award.

Mahe Fonua is in contention to walk away with two awards, with his first effort against the Tigers, superbly assisted by Jake Connor, picking up a nomination, while Adam Swift is once again nominated for another award having claimed the last two Player of the Month awards; this time his second effort against Leigh is nominated.

A superb team try, finished by Jack Brown against the Centurions, is also in, while Connor Wynne’s effort against Huddersfield on Friday makes up the four.
