The Hull FC Sports College, part of the club’s Centre of Excellence, is once again celebrating some incredible achievements on Results Day 2024!
All students parting company with the Hull FC Sports college this year have achieved or surpassed their target grade, boasting a 97% pass rate across our Level 3 Diploma, Extended Diploma and Personal Training programmes.
And after a successful time within the Hull FC Centre of Excellence programme, 90% of learners already have their immediate future secured, whether that be continuing their studies into either further or higher education, gaining apprenticeships both in and out of the sporting sector, or into employment.
Those celebrating include first-team players Jack Charles and Will Kirby – both of whom have achieved the highest grade of ‘Distinction’, studying alongside their first-team duties.
The Centre of Excellence prides itself on its offer of an unrivalled rugby league programme combining coaching, development, and education to give young players and students the very best opportunity to progress into professional sport –in both playing and off field roles.
It is the next step on the Hull FC pathway for academy and first-team for elite minded students, proudly representing our club and sharing our values, aspirations and club colours from college to first-grade.
Education Programme Lead, Jack Lazenby, commented: “It is that time of year again where we part ways with a cohort of students who have shown excellent commitment and work ethic over the last two years with ourselves at the Hull FC Sports College.
“It is an exciting stage in the lives of our students, as they start their journey into higher education, employment in and outside the sporting sector, as well as a very exciting cohort progressing into our first-grade squad.
“During their time at the COE Sports College, the students have shown their ability to not only achieve the academic grades to succeed, but also invaluable life skills to ensure further success in the years to come thanks to their time with the college.
“I speak for all the staff at Hull FC Centre of Excellence as we would like to wish them good luck for their futures.”
