Preparations for the new Betfred Super League season will hot up when the Black & Whites head to the Bonus Arena for their 2023 Season Launch Dinner, sponsored by Arcmaster, including the induction of three famous faces into the club’s Hall of Fame.
Taking place on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at Hull’s premier events venue, supporters, staff, players and club partners will come together to look forward to the start of the new campaign as excitement reaches fever pitch ahead of their Round 1 clash in February.
As well as enjoying a delicious three-course meal and live entertainment, fans will get the chance to hear from newly appointed head coach Tony Smith on the squad’s pre-season preparations with just three weeks to go until the season gets underway, as well as some of the club’s new signings.
The event will also see the club induct three new members into the illustrious Hull FC Hall of Fame for the first time since 2015.
The club’s Hall of Fame includes some of our greatest former players of all-time, including the likes of Johnny Whiteley, Clive Sullivan, Lee Crooks, James Leuluai, Steve Norton, and David Topliss.
Richard Horne was the most recent inductee into the Hall of Fame seven years ago.
Club chairman Adam Pearson will also be in attendance and give his thoughts to those in attendance, as well as the entire first-team squad and former players, and some very special guests.
The Airlie Birds have confirmed five new recruits ahead of the new campaign, with duo Tex Hoy and Jake Clifford joining the club from NRL side Newcastle Knights, while Super League stars Jake Trueman, Brad Dwyer and Liam Sutcliffe will all also make the move to the MKM Stadium – fans will get the chance to hear from several of FC’s new stars, and discuss their excitement and ambitions for the months ahead.
There will also be an opportunity for photographs with some of the club’s first-team stars.
Having hosted the Black & Whites on several occasions before, the club are excited to be returning to the stunning Bonus Arena for the event.
The arena has played host to international musicians, entertainers and events since opening in 2018, and will once again be the setting for one of the club’s biggest off-field events of the calendar.
Doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. The dress code will be smart casual.
Tickets are priced at £60 per person, whilst a table of ten can be booked for £550.
