Hull FC’s Players Restaurant Takeover returns for Hull&Proud Week 2024, and this year the first-team squad will be heading to Zizzi St Stephen’s!
One of the highlights of Hull&Proud Week and historically one of our most popular events, supporters will be given the unique opportunity to have their evening meal prepared and served by the players themselves.
The players will become waiters, hosts and chefs for the night on Monday 10th June, serving up some delicious Italian cuisine for hungry supporters, with Herman Ese’ese and Tom Briscoe designing their own menu items for supporters to try!
Both pizzas will feature some delicious toppings, with Herman’s including chicken, spianata sausage, balsamic onions, mushrooms, goats cheese, and pesto on a tomato base, while Tom’s includes prosciutto, spianata sausage, peppers, sun-blushed tomatoes, and mozzarella on tomato base.
Other players in attendance will include Jake Trueman, Jack Charles, Ligi Sao and Liam Sutcliffe.
In previous years, the club have taken over restaurants including ASK Italian, Frankies & Benny’s, Pizza Express, Tribal Kingswood, and most recently Nandos for an evening for fun for the entire family!
Supporters wishing to attend the event should book their tables directly through the venue at zizzi.co.uk/italian/restaurants/hull – members of the squad will be in attendance between 5.00pm and 7.30pm.
2024 members will receive a 20% discount on the night, with a donation from the event being made to the Mental Health Foundation, and the Hull FC Community Foundation.
Hull FC holds no responsibility for the quality of food that will be presented! (Don’t worry, Zizzi staff and real chefs will be on hand to help out). Supporters should also note that the regular menu will be being served, as well as the two special pizzas.

Hull&Proud Week will come to a close with our ‘Big Day Out’ clash against Leeds Rhinos at the MKM Stadium on Saturday 15th June (3.00pm), with members able to make the most of our ‘Members Double’ ticket offer, and all supporters able to take advantage of our ‘Kids For A Quid’ ticket offer.
