Match Ball Delivery

The club are proud to welcome former British paratrooper and veterans campaigner Ben Parkinson MBE to deliver the match ball ahead of kick-off, alongside the club’s Veterans Officer Sarah Robinson.

Parkinson was the most severely wounded soldier to survive the war in Afghanistan, having both legs amputated, and suffering a broken back and lasting brain damage, when the Land Rover he was travelling in struck a landmine in 2006. He defied his doctors’ expectations by learning to walk and talk again, and regularly raises money for veterans’ charities.

Supporters can report incidents of discriminatory and anti-social behaviour on matchdays by using the club’s free text messaging service. Please text the word HULL followed by details of the issue and where it occurred to 60066. All texts will be treated in the strictest confidence.
