Hull FC will face Castleford Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle in February 2025, as both clubs celebrate the Testimonial of Joe Westerman.
The fixture will be a part of both sides’ preparations for the 2025 campaign in pre-season, but it will also be an opportunity for two clubs that Westerman has represented to come together and celebrate his career, which has spanned almost two decades.
Hull will travel to West Yorkshire to face the Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Saturday 1st February (3.00pm kick-off).
The 34-year-old started his professional Rugby League career with Castleford in 2007. He then moved from West Yorkshire to East Yorkshire in 2011, joining the Black & Whites until the end of the 2015 season, during which time he made over 100 FC appearances.
During his time at the MKM Stadium, Westerman earned two international caps; one for England and another for England Knights.
He went on to represent Warrington Wolves and Toronto Wolfpack before making a return to Hull FC for the 2018 and 2019 campaigns.
And after a two-year stay with Wakefield, Westerman returned to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle to join the Tigers for a second time, during which time he has made over 400 career appearances.
